How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • Negotiate strategically on commercial, legal, and technical aspects with intralogistics solution providers, specifically focusing on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and service contracts, to secure the best terms for ALDI
  • Manage stakeholder relationships by collaborating with internal and external partners to gather and align requirements, ensuring consistency and clarity
  • Support the drafting of tendering documents for intralogistics projects, ensuring clarity and accuracy and review evaluate vendor proposals for finding potentials for improvement
  • Collaborate with legal teams to review, finalize, and develop effective contract mechanisms
  • Support the development and implementation of our technology supplier strategy while building long-term partnership approaches for sustainable collaboration
  • Establish and build standardized structures and processes to enhance team knowledge and methodologies, driving increased efficiency in our operations

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include: 

  • A university degree or comparable qualification with a technical or business focus
  • At least 2 years of experience in the automation industry, ideally in material handling, machinery, industrial goods, or procurement of warehouse technology
  • Strong knowledge of commercial contract clauses (liability, warranty, risk mitigation) with proven success in managing complex contracts
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to effectively resolve conflicts
  • Highly motivated to take initiative and see projects through to successful completion
  • Willingness to travel internationally (10-20%) and fluent English proficiency

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 59.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
